Is it safe to exercise during pregnancy?
Generally the answer is yes! However, you may need to make a few changes to your routine. It is very important to listen to your body and not do anything that causes pain.
There are some conditions when exercise in pregnancy is not advised including cervical insufficiency, certain types of heart and lung disease, preterm labor or preterm rupture of membranes (after your water has broken), and women with high blood pressure issues in pregnancy.
