There are many different forms of birth control options. They include:

—  Barrier methods (condoms, diaphragm, sponge spermicide)

—  Combined hormonal (estrogen and progesterone) options: pill, patch, ring

—  Progesterone only pill

—  Depo-provera Injection

—  Implant (Nexplanon)

—  IUD (intrauterine device): both hormonal or non-hormonal
